Always wanted to ride in Fruita, Colorado?....Now is your chance!

Ready for a challenge and endless fun? Join us for our mountain biking conference in Grand Junction, Colorado! We have hundreds of miles of trails and terrain here in our Grand Valley. Grand Junction and Fruita have some of the best mountain biking in Colorado. Out on the trails you will see the beautiful sights and scenery of Western Colorado as we hit the trails with leisurely rides, steep climbs, switchbacks, downhills, and technical challenges that will test your skills. With many trails to choose from, each awesome and unique, you will enjoy your outdoor adventure on two wheels! To learn more about Grand Junction, and the surrounding area, go here.

Most of our riding will take place in Fruita, Colorado - 6 miles West of Grand Junction. Fruita is situated in our beautiful Grand Valley and is considered by many as a premier mountain biking destination. Write-ups in multiple mountain biking and outdoor magazines are helping to put us on the map! Some of the mountain biking areas we will explore are at the West end of our Valley: 18 Road (Chutes & Ladders, Joe’s Ridge, Vegetarian, Kessels Run, and PBR) and Kokopelli (Horsethief, Mary’s Loop, and the great beginner/warm up trail of Rustler's Loop...just to name a few). There are numerous trails to choose from, some ledgy, rocky, and single-tracked loops…we are working on our best options. To check out some of these possible trails, CLICK HERE to see where our desert terrain will take you.

We will have a SAG wagon back at the trailhead parking lot and there will be group ride leaders available to ride with. We strongly suggest riding with at least one other person in case something goes awry.

You may choose to bring your own mountain bike, as riding on your own familiar seat has it's benefits, but know that we have a lot of mountain bike rentals available to you here in the Grand Valley. The bike shops in our area you might want to contact are: Browns Cycles on Main Street in downtown Grand Junction; the contact person is Chris Brown and the shop number is 970-245-7939. Ruby Canyon is also located on Main Street and the contact person is Ryan Cranston, shop number is 970-241-0141. Ruby Canyon is located on 3rd & Main Street, across the street from our conference location. Another great bike shop is Over The Edge Sports in downtown Fruita, 6 miles away from our hotel. They have an abundance of mountain bike rentals and we will work with you on getting the bike to our hotel upon arrival. Let us know if you have any questions!  Adventure Cycling Association has great information on ways to ship your bike.

Our conference will be held at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott, located in Historic Downtown Grand Junction. SpringHill is conveniently located four miles from the airport, with free shuttle service upon request and arrival. You will be right in the heart of Grand Junction on Main Street, a tree-lined street that invites you to stroll past shops, restaurants, breweries, music venues, and galleries. Or if you'd rather eat in, there is a fridge and microwave in each room and a City Market grocery store a block away. All Cycling CME participants will receive the discounted group rate. This rate will be extended to you if you arrive three days pre or post conference. The discounted group rate (TBA) for our room block ends one month prior to the start of our conference.

Be prepared to enjoy the American West. You will want to come back!
